I planned and taught this session to students in the second year seminar course for ACCESS STEM Scholars as part of STEM 199: Research Methodology. Overall, this in-person guest lecture was very well-received by the students with over 85% students indicating that they found this session to be helpful to their learning and debunking common myths about internships. I tend to use tools like Poll Everywhere to make teaching more interactive and improving student engagement. As a result of this session, I was able to directly contribute to many of my students getting internships as freshman and sophomores.
